Patient Information – Updated Billing Policy
Many of the independent doctors consulting from Riverside Medical Centre offer bulk billing for eligible patients during weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Bulk billing availability may vary between doctors and is generally offered for:

Children aged 15 years and under with a valid Medicare card

Concession card holders aged 75 years and over
Please note: Bulk billing is not available for telephone consultations, procedures, or forms.
Telephone Consultations
All telephone consultations will attract a private fee, regardless of concession card status.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please discuss available options directly with your doctor or the practice manager.
Consultation Fees (Typical Fee Ranges)
Each doctor consulting at Riverside Medical Centre determines their own fees. The following reflects typical fee ranges charged for consultations:
WEEKDAYS (Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM)

Standard Consultation (approx. 10 mins): $95 – Medicare rebate: $21.00–$43.90

Long Consultation: $160 – Medicare rebate: $38.00–$84.90

Telephone Consultation: $100 – Medicare rebate: $21.00–$43.90
Additional fees may apply if the consultation exceeds the booked time.
AFTER-HOURS (Wednesdays & Fridays from 5 PM onwards, weekends & public holidays)

Appointment fees are based on time spent and the complexity of your consultation.
